K&L Gates' tax practice in Poland is now established after its takeover of Hogan & Hartson's Polish tax group in 2010. Of counsel Piotr Augustyniak is the department's leader and specialises in advising on cross-border structuring and M&A for international clients. The department is completed by associate Piotr Swiniarski who provides analysis and opinions on both international and domestic tax issues.
