Drew & Napier's tax practice is headed by the knowledgeable Ong Sim Ho. Together with partner Ong Ken Loon and associate director Seah Ching Ling, the group offers a range of services including tax disputes and litigation, transactional advice and tax risk management.
Sim Ho and Ken Loon have handled an array of matters over the last year. The pair are leading the team in conducting a review of the business processes of a national oil company to ensure compliance with the applicable tax laws. The team is also advising a US logistics group on the GST exposure for its Singapore transactions.
Ong Ken Loon advised on tax and stamp duty issues regarding the corporate restructuring of international firms. In another recent matter, she, Seah and associate Guo Jiawen obtained stamp duty relief from the Stamp Office and the Ministry of Finance.
