August & Debouzy is a new entry in World Tax 2012. The tax group was formed by former professionals of PwC in 2005. Xavier Rohmer and Philippe Lorentz head the group.
The team is large, consisting of 12 fee earners and is able to offer more advice on most areas of tax.
Last year the group worked on the carve-out of Inteva from Arvin Meritors and the subsequent acquisition by RenCo. Other deals worked on this year include the debt restructuring of a company under the control of Walon France, and assistance to the minority shareholders in their $200 million exit from Saverglass.
