Veil Jourde's tax practice is led by Christophe Delrieu, who joined last year from Gide Loyrette Nouel and specialises in international tax, particularly group restructuring.
The practice provides largely support work for the firm's other departments, especially the M&A team, providing advice on acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and pre- and post-acquisition restructuring.
This year the group advised on the recapitalisation of a French manufacturer of motorcycle helmets after the withdrawl of a private equity group as shareholder. The practice has a good balance of international and French clients.
