Willkie Farr & Gallagher has a tax group of 13 in New York, including six partners. Christopher Peters, who covers the tax aspects of M&A, spinoffs, leveraged buyouts and joint ventures, was one of the firm's team that advised UK media production house Tinopolis on its acquisition of BASE, a Californian production company, in August 2011. And Richard Reinhold worked with colleagues from the rest of the firm in July 2011 in advising Fiat on the transactions that saw the US and Canadian government complete the sale of their stakes in Chrysler to the Italian vehicle group.
