Henry Davis York runs a specialist transaction advisory practice with a focus on financial services. Partner Greg Reinhardt, recommended for his knowledge in capital markets and financial products, leads the tax team that advises companies on the tax implications of M&A, corporate restructures, infrastructure projects, financing and leasing arrangements, and tax consolidation.
Reinhardt advised ING Real Estate Investment Management on the tax risks associated with the phased withdrawal from its Australian real estate investment management activities. These included its management of five Australian Securities Exchange (ASX)-listed real estate investment trusts with more than A$7.2 billion in assets under management, and its co-investment stake of around A$150 million in the trusts.
Henry Davis York continues to assist ING Real Estate Investment Management in its evaluation of alternatives to determine the future management of its three other ASX-listed funds.
