Managing partner Carlos Fernández-Smith specialises in tax-planning, advisory work and tax diligence. Partners Fernando Fernandez and Leopoldo Escobar designed a tax structure for the development of upstream and upgrading facilities for the execution of a crude oil project in the Orinoco Oil Belt. The transaction has not yet been completed and is valued at over $14 billion.
