Ms. Goh Ka Im graduated with an LL.B (Hons.) degree from the University of Bristol, U.K. in 1986 and was called to the Bar of England & Wales as a member of Gray's Inn in 1987. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1988 and became a partner of Shearn Delamore & Co. in 1997. Ms. Goh is the head of the Tax and Revenue Practice Group of Shearn Delamore & Co. and advises on all aspects of tax and revenue law including income tax; corporate tax; real property gains tax; double taxation treaties; Labuan offshore tax planning; offshore companies; offshore partnerships; offshore trusts; customs duties; sales tax; service tax; stamp duty; transfer pricing; tax incentives for investments; trusts and asset protection planning. She has wide experience in all areas of Tax and Revenue law including tax litigation. She has appeared extensively before the Special Commissioners of Income Tax, the High Court of Malaya and the Court of Appeal on tax and revenue matters. She has also appeared before the Federal Court in Malaysia. Ms. Goh is the Past Chair of the Tax Committee of the Inter Pacific Bar Association, the Malaysian Jurisdictional Editor of the International Tax Planning Association and is a member of the International Bar Association and International Fiscal Association. She has spoken at numerous international and local Revenue Law conferences and seminars, and has written and contributed significantly to the International Tax Planning Association and other prestigious publications.

Mr. Anand Raj was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1996 after obtaining an LLB (Honours) degree from the University of London in 1994 and the Certificate of Legal Practice in 1995. Mr. Raj has been a member of Shearn Delamore & Co.'s Tax and Revenue Practice Group from 1996 and has been partner of the firm since 2003. Mr. Raj practises in all aspects of tax and revenue law advisory, structuring, planning, audit, investigation, dispute resolution (including advising taxpayers on the settlement of tax cases with the Revenue or in dealings with governmental authorities) and litigation (including tax appeals, civil suits, declaratory proceedings, judicial review applications, windings up etc.) work. Mr. Raj has appeared as Counsel for taxpayers before the Special Commissioners of Income Tax and the Superior Courts of Malaysia. He has prepared and presented papers on Malaysian Tax and Revenue Law at domestic and international forums. He has also written articles on Malaysian Tax and Revenue Law and contributed to domestic and international tax and accounting journals.

Ms. Irene Yong was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1999 after obtaining an LLB (Honours) degree from the University of London in 1997 and the Certificate of Legal Practice in 1998. In 2003, she completed her MBA at Warwick Business School, UK. Ms. Yong was a member of Shearn Delamore & Co.'s Tax and Revenue Practice Group from 1999 to 2002 and rejoined the practice group in 2004 after completing her MBA and practising as a foreign legal adviser in Singapore. Ms Yong was admitted as a partner of Shearn Delamore & Co. in 2008. Ms. Yong practises in all aspects of tax and revenue law advisory, structuring, planning, litigation, transfer pricing, audit and investigation work. Ms Yong has appeared as Counsel for taxpayers before the Special Commissioners of Income Tax and the Superior Courts of Malaysia. She is one of the authors of CCH's Malaysian Revenue Guidelines and Public Rulings, which is a joint effort between CCH, Shearn Delamore & Co. and KPMG.
