De Pardieu Brocas Maffei is co-headed by Emmanuel Chauve and Bernard Boutemy. The practice comprises five partners and seven fee earners, and has a lot of experience across a range of tax areas including real estate, M&A, structured finance, litigation and private equity.
The group has worked on a number of real estate acquisitions this year. Chauve and Marie-Laure Bruneel advised a joint venture of Altarea, ABP and Predica on the $600 million acquisition of a shopping centre in Nice. Alexandre Blestel advised a joint venture between Foncière des Murs and Predica on the acquisition of a real estate portfolio in Germany and France.
The team also advised Rothschild as minority investors in the acquisition of Go Voyages group. Other clients they have worked for this year included Carrefour and BNP Paribas.
